Each order is processed and completed individually. Every client of Eastwind Creations will be assigned to a Wedding Invitation Designer that will act as their design liaison. Eastwind Creations maintains the right to refuse any client's design request for any reason.

Before any design work is performed on a client's behalf, they must agree to these Terms and Conditions.

As part as the design service provided by Eastwind Creations, each client is given a “proof” or representation of the final printed product via e-mail. Each proof is visual representation of the finished product and each client is allowed to make corrections and adjustments upon a proof provided.

Each customer is entitled up to 5 Significant revisions or proofs of their initial invitation set. A Significant Edit is any major change in design layout, graphics, fonts, colors, or other elements. Each significant edit will include a noticeable change from the previous proof and required additional design time to complete. Any additional edits past the allowed 5 Significant edits may be subject to additional design fees set individually by each Eastwind Creations designer. The Eastwind Creations Designer will notify their client if any additional fees will apply. This notice is required before additional work is preformed.

Reasonable edits that take less than 20 minutes to complete are considered Minor Edits and are not counted towards the Significant Edit proof count. The most common of Minor Edits are changes in text such as change in venue location, date, or name corrections. Ultimately, it is up to the designer to determine if each edit is considered a Significant or Minor edit. 

All editing will be done by an Eastwind Creations designer.

All hard-copy proofs may be assessed a shipping and handling fee of $10.00 per proof unless otherwise notified. Hard-copy proofs will be provided where possible. Hard-copy proofs may not be available for all Eastwind Creations designs or printing methods. Clients may consult with their assigned designer regarding hard-copy proofs.

Once a final design is agreed upon, the final proof will be e-mailed to the client for final approval. The client is responsible for checking spelling, syntax, and overall layout of the design.The client must approve the final proof, in writing, before their design is set for printing. Written proof may be in the form of an e-mail.

The client is responsible for contacting the designer if there is any mistake on the final proof. Eastwind Creations will not be held liablefor misspellings, syntax or other mistakes in any way once a final proof is approved by the client. Any needed corrections or reprints after the final proof was approved by the client will be the responsibility of the client. Once the client approves the final design, payment in full will be required before printing and shipping.

Payment

A deposit of $100.00 is required before any original designs or artwork is created on behalf of any client. This non-refundable deposit paid when one fills out the Custom Design Request Form. This ensures scheduling of designers for each client and will be applied to the final cost of the invitation order. If, for any reason an invitation order is not placed after a deposit is made, said deposit will not be refunded to the client. Payment in full is not required until final approval has been received from the client to the Eastwind Creations representative.

All payments to Eastwind Creations will be made through online merchant services, including but not exclusive to Pay Pal and other servicing agencies. Eastwind Creations representitives will not accept cash for payment. Checks and money transfer services may be availible for special circumstances. All payments are made to Eastwind Creations L.L.C.

Eastwind Creations Designers

Eastwind Creations Designers are Independant Contractors. An Independent Contractor designing for Eastwind Creations is termed a “Designer” for the purposes of Eastwind Creations. Each designer works independently for Eastwind Creations and is contracted for a flat fee set by Eastwind Creations on a per job basis. Eastwind Creations designers will in no way "upsale" a invitation design to increase revenue.

Eastwind Creations designers are independent contractors that primarily are responsible for communication with each client and completion of the requested designs. Each designer will primarily work with clients on an assigned or referred basis.

To place an order with Eastwind Creations, a client must fill out a Custom DEsign Request Form and they will be assigned a designer to work with. This entails paying a non-refundable deposit to Eastwind Creations to schedule and reserve a designer to work on their behalf. Eastwind Creations' management will manage and coordinate all designer and cleint relations.

Image Quality

All of the invitations Eastwind Creations produces are produced at the highest availible printing quality and are printed on professional printing presses. Each of our invitations are professionally deisigned by trained graphic designers and the output quality of our invitations is at or above industry standard.

Photos to be used with an invitation:

Eastwind Creations reserves the right to refuse to work with any photo or image produced by their client that is not up to the quality standard set by each designer. Typically an image fit for print will be at 1200x1800 pixels or higher. We will notify the customer of the need of a high-quality image if an image submitted is not fit to edited or modified. If a replacement image is not provided, we reserve the right to kindly refuse to work with an image. Producing high quality photo images is the responsibility of the client.

All preliminary proofs are provided in low resolution format via e-mail. Hard-copy proofs are available for most designs and may be subject to a S&H fee of $10.00 per proof.

Once the client has approved all digital proofs and no further changes are required, an invoice will be sent to the customer. Changes made after payment has been received may not be honored if the order has gone to production. The client is responsible for any costs that may occur if alterations or changes need to be made after the final proof was approved.

Printing services are not preformed by Eastwind Creations. Eastwind Creations coordinates and manages the printing of each order through various professional independantly-operated printing establishments. Printers are chosen based on cost and availability and will change without notice. The choice of the printer is solely the decision of Eastwind Creations. Eastwind Creations has full control over the printing type and papers used with our designs.

Shipping will be charged based on each individual order and will be listed on the client's final invoice. Packing and shipping supplies are included in the cost of shipping. Shipping will not be expedited (less than 2 business days) unless requested by the customer. Additional charges may apply for expedited shipping of orders or hard-copy proofs. Any promotions offered will overwrite standard pricing and procedures.

Pricing listed on the website is an estimate and is subject to change. Each customer will receive and invoice for payment which will include the final price for their invitation order. Payment in full is required before printing. Shipping charges will be assessed and will be included on the client's final invoice.

Refunds will not be administered for any reason. Eastwind Creations guarantees that your printed order will match your digital proof in spelling, syntax, and layout as represented in the final proof, approved in writing by the client. Slight color variances may occur between the digital proof and the printed copy. Eastwind Creations will not be held liable for slight color variances. If Eastwind Creations is responsible for any major printing flaw or misprint, we will reprint and ship the order at no cost to the customer. The customer must return the flawed products before a reprint is ordered.

If products are not returned, Eastwind Creations is not liable to replace the flawed product. If there is a flaw that the customer failed to correct on the digital proof and appears on the printed version, Eastwind Creations will not be held responsible. However, Eastwind Creations will be willing to reprint a corrected version at cost.

Shipping methods will vary depending on location and date needed. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost. All shipping will be through the United States Postal Service, United Parcel Service (UPS) or Federal Express (FedEx). The customer is responsible for shipping costs unless otherwise stated. All orders will arrive 5-7 business days after payment has been received unless otherwise notified.

Eastwind Creations will do everything possible to represent products accurately. However, there are limitations to how colors will appear in the final printing. Eastwind Creations will always retain a copy of the final product shipped to the client in order to ensure color and quality of product. If there is any customer dissatisfaction after the final printing has been received by the client, it is the responsibility of the client to refer to these Terms and Conditions for proper protocol.

Eastwind Creations will not share any private information you provide with third parties. All information provided to Eastwind Creations is used solely for internal purposes and will not be disclosed to other parties. However, Eastwind Creations does retain the right to display digitally and in print finished invitation designs and concepts.

All designs and content of this website are the sole property of Eastwind Creations L.L.C. Designs may not be copied in whole or in part or reproduced in any way. If you wish to reproduce our work on your own, you may purchase a copyright release from Eastwind Creations for a fee. Each fee is individually assessed according to the design. Typically we treat these as design-only orders and charge a flat design fee.

When you submit a photo to Eastwind Creations, you certify that you own the image and give Eastwind Creations the right to use that image in their designs online, printed, or otherwise. Proofs and Custom Designs created for a client as part of a requested order, they are the sole property of Eastwind Creations.

Eastwind Creations reserves the right to add any original designs or artwork created on behalf of their clients to their portfolio online or otherwise printed. Eastwind Creations reserves the copyright to any artwork or design created.

Images and photographs on http://eastwindcreations.com or sent in any e-mail correspondence by an Eastwind Creations designer may not be copied without prior permission by Eastwind Creations. Infringement of copyright will be vigorously pursued.

It is the responsibility of the client to obtain permission for printed reproduction of any material, e.g. photos to be included in our designs. We reserve the right to request proof of copyright from the photographer. By sending Eastwind Creations your photos and the applicable releases you certify that you have permission from the photographer to reprint your images and agree to hold Eastwind Creations harmless for all costs, expenses, attorney's fees or judgments resulting from any claims or lawsuits made for any grounds claiming that the product produced violates any copyright or proprietary right of any person or entity.
